Mark Power meets Lord Mayor of Manchester
As part of the PR campaign for this year’s We Love Manchester 10K, Mark Power got to photograph the Lord Mayor of Manchester, Cllr. Susan Cooley, with Olympic legend Ron Hill at Sport City.  

Cycling Photographs in Bolton News
Photographs taken by Mark Power at the Lancashire Road Club “Hilly” Time Trial were featured in an almost full-page article on the newly formed Team Chronomaster in the Bolton News (May 2014).  

Photographic Distinction for Mark Power
Mark has gained the award of CPAGB from the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain. Awarded for a successful presentation of 10 photographic prints, the “Credit” distinction was obtained at the PAGB assessment in Wakefield in April 2012. The image to the right is one of the panel submitted.

Top Honour for Mark Power
Mark Power has been awarded a top prize at the 6th Swansea International Exhibition of Photography. His image “Fleeting Moments”, which you can see to the right (click on the image to enlarge it), was awarded the Swansea Institute Contemporary Prize. The award, embodied as an engraved glass tankard, was one of only a handful given in an entry of over 11,400 images.

SportsEvents To Do Run The Flash
SEP will be the official photographers for the Run The Flash 10K and Half Marathon on 3rd April at Leigh Sports Village. The runs, which will take participants through Pennington Flash, will be supporting a variety of cancer charities.
